It's that time of year again, and as usual I've pieced together some of my favorite summer-style tunes. I plan on making this an annual mix as each year I find more music to enjoy, and rediscover some to re-live. Each tune is simply a favorite of mine to relax, cruise, or lay on the beach to. Speaking of  summer, on August 21st at Love in NYC, I'll be playing a tag-team set with my good friend Nic Stasiuk for trance classics night in the 'cave', so if you're around check it out! The trance classics nights are always my favorite and most memorable events that I've been to, so it's not to be missed!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to play a 2 hour opening set for local trance hero DJ Eco at Zen Lounge in Teaneck, NJ. It was an awesome night all around! Here is the second hour of my recorded set. As usual, any feedback is appreciated!

Be on the lookout for my next mix release, a continuation of my summer mixes entitled 'Shore Points'. Also on July 3rd we'll be celebrating our one-year anniversary of our 'four to the floor events' at Zen Lounge, so I hope to see you there as well!

As for what you can expect in the future, I'll be playing a two hour opening set at Zen Lounge on the 19th of this month. Details about the party itself and the headliner we're bringing will be up very soon, so keep an eye out for that. If all goes well, I will be releasing the recording of said set. You can also expect another addition to what I may just consider making an annual mix series: Shore Points.  If I have some free time, I'd also like to submit another entry to the DJ Tutor monthly Ten Minute Mix competition. As usual, you can definitely expect to see me out at some upcoming NYC trance events. I'll do my best to keep anyone interested updated across the board.

It's been a long time since I've promoted a mix that I've done, and I'm personally very glad I waited to put out something I was proud of. It's been hard to find time to dedicate in putting together mixes, which is the exact premise behind this one. This mix was simply exciting to complete, and I can only hope that you all share that excitement in listening.

The following two mixes are ones that I did not plan on releasing, but ended up really enjoying when listening back. The first was done in late september, when I was certainly not looking forward to colder weather. Now that it's actually cold (a little quicker than I hoped), this mix helps keep my mind on a tropical island.

Another 'random' mix that I did, it starts out very progressive building into a techier flow for better part of the set. Mind you, this was recorded while i was facebooking a ton, so there are some audio glitches and the mixing style is pretty unorthodox for me. But overall, and especially in comparison to most of the mixes I put out, this one is extremely unique.

This past week, on August 14th at 9:10AM, my Grandmother passed. It has been an emotional time for the family and friends that were close with her. She spent the past 3 months recovering from a major surgery after trying everything else to attempt to overcome her battle with cancer. I have lived with her my entire life, so essentially, I lost a member of my immediate family. In this mix, I collected and pieced together songs that I felt explained the last few months while she had been in the hospital, and her passing. Whether it is lyrically, or musically, this track list will surely tell the story that I will always remember.
